Iced Tea

In the warmer months, there is nothing more refreshing and thirst-quenching than a home-made Iced Tea. Why not transform the health benefits and delicious flavours and aromas of The Tea Maiden’s blends into a superbly cooling summer drink by creating Iced Teas! The Tea Maiden’s Recipes

 

Australian Iced Chai -

Wattle Seed Chai

For a single serving-

1.     Prepare as for hot chai, but use 2-3 teaspoons of chai mix per cup of water

2.     Wait 5 minutes (allow the chai to infuse)

3.     Prepare the tall glass with ice

4.     Pour in the chai

5.     Add milk / soy milk

6.     Add honey, ice cream & chocolate powder on top if desired!

 

Iced Summer Tea –

Women’s Secret Herbal Blend / The Tea Maiden’s Blend

For a single serve-

1.     Prepare as for hot tea, but use two teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup of water

2.     Allow it to infuse for 5 minutes

3.     Prepare the tall glass with ice, fruits, mint etc

4.     Pour in the herbal infusion

5.     Add a shot of Vodka if you desire an Iced Tea Cocktail!

 

 Iced Green Tea -

Spiced Native Green Tea

For a single serve-

1.     Prepare as for hot tea, but use two teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup of water

2.     Allow it to infuse for 2 minutes (over infusing will make it bitter)

3.     Prepare the tall glass with ice, fresh lemon or peach slices, mint etc

4.     Pour the green tea over the ice mix

5.  Serve immediately

 

Iced Lemon & Ginger Tea -

Lemon Myrtle

For a single serve-

1.     Prepare as for hot tea, but use 2-3 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup of water

2.     Allow it to infuse for 5 minutes

3.     Prepare the tall glass with ice, fresh ginger slices, a twist of lemon and honey if desired

4.     Pour in the herbal infusion

5.     Serve immediately
